1. Overview

Snappy Capture is a Chrome extension and web portal for capturing, annotating, and sharing screenshots. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.

2. Screenshots and page content

Screenshots, crops, annotations, and guide steps are created and stored locally in your browser. We do not upload, view, or store your captured images on our servers. Nothing you capture leaves your device unless you choose to save, copy, or share it yourself.

3. Information we collect

  • Activation details — the email address used to activate a license and the activation code issued to you.
  • Device identifier — a random identifier generated in your browser to bind a license to a device slot. It contains no personal data and no hardware fingerprint.
  • Activation events — timestamps and outcome of activation attempts, used to prevent abuse and to support you.
  • Support messages — anything you send us by email or direct message.

4. What we do not collect

  • Browsing history, page content, form data, or keystrokes.
  • Your screenshots, recordings, or annotations.
  • Advertising identifiers. We do not sell or rent personal data, ever.

5. How we use information

Only to issue and verify licenses, enforce device limits, prevent fraudulent activations, and answer support requests. License tokens are cryptographically signed and verified offline on your device.

6. Storage and retention

License records are stored on our managed backend with restricted access. Activation logs are retained up to 24 months. Local data lives in your browser storage and is deleted when you remove the extension or clear browser data.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your activation record at any time. Email tamparongsarahrose@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your license record deactivates the license.

8. Children

Snappy Capture is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date on this page.
